Dr. Matthew Miller
Matthew Miller has been part of the Highland Hills family since 2017. He loves Jesus, serving the church, and growing in faith alongside others. He’s also a husband and proud dad to four amazing kids. Matthew studied at Tennessee Tech University, earned a Master’s in Christian Scripture from Heritage Christian University, and completed a Ph.D. in Practical Theology from Trinity Bible College and Graduate School. More than anything, he wants people to experience the beauty of God through His Word and the life we share in Christ.
Landon Tipps
Landon Tipps and his family have attended Highland Hills since May of 2023. Landon has served as youth minister since May of 2025. He loves God and fellowship with family and fellow Christians. Landon is also a teacher at Tullahoma High School. He has served as youth minister at two churches prior to HH. He believes in a Christ-centered, family-based approach to youth ministry and that worthwhile results takes time, patience, hard work, and help from the Lord.

Gary Johnson
Gary and his wife, Jennifer, have been married since 1984. After 10 years in the United States Air Force, Gary dedicated over 24 years to ministry and now serves as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He became a shepherd at Highland Hills in June 2024 and is passionate about worship, teaching, and caring for the church family. Together, Gary and Jennifer love serving others, spending time with their three children and seven grandchildren, and using their gifts to support the church community.

Paul Lewis
Paul grew up in central Texas and considers Georgetown his hometown. He was raised in a preacher’s home and considers it a blessing to have been part of the church from an early age. He attended Freed-Hardeman University, where he met his wife, who has been his partner since 1977. He graduated in 1979 and remains a strong believer in the spiritual and practical value of a Christian education. Paul looks forward to many years of serving the Highland Hills church and supporting its mission through faithful leadership and care for the church family.

Don Winningham
Don grew up in Livingston, Tennessee, where he was baptized at the Livingston Church of Christ at the age of 16. He married his wife, Lori, in 1978 and graduated from Tennessee Tech in 1980. Don is a CPA and holds an MBA from MTSU. He spent many years in finance, finishing his career as Vice President, CFO, and Treasurer of a regional Coca-Cola distributor. Don and Lori have two sons and four grandchildren. They have served with several congregations over the years, where Don has taught and served as both a deacon and elder, and Lori has led women’s classes and events.

Willie Childers
Adult Education, Men’s Ministry & Worship Support
Willie helps organize and guide our adult education ministry by planning curriculum, scheduling classes, and supporting teachers. He works with leaders to plan men’s fellowship opportunities, supports worship assignments so more members can serve on Sundays, and coordinates our Summer Series speakers and themes with the elders. -

Dan Thomas
Outreach & Community Ministries
Dan helps lead our outreach and service ministries, coordinating efforts like Better Together, Shepherd’s House, Come to the Table, One Day of Hope, Partners for Healing, and Morning Pointe services. He works alongside volunteers to help Highland Hills serve our neighbors in practical, compassionate ways. -

Adam VanReenen
Finance, Projects & Communications
Adam helps steward the church’s finances through budgeting, tracking contributions, and supporting special fundraising efforts. He also advises on major business decisions, oversees building and remodeling projects and maintenance contracts, and supports our technology and communication systems, including IT, digital platforms, and social media administration.
